Some user's on Twitter has shared there idea why they are actually.
The 18 year old posted a pic of a gray, Suede jacket that seem to be supporting the strap of red purse.
While on Twitter she wrote
"Taken me 18 years to find out that the weird shoulder buttons on jackets is to hold your bag in place so it doesn't fall off who knew" she wrote.
After sharing her life altering realisation her Tweet likes raised upto 67,000.
Some admitted that they are already using their shoulder buttons to support a purise.
While someone is believing this purse theory or not several others said that these shoulder buttons were originally used by Military professionals to hold weapons, Ammunition pouches, backpacks.
Turns out, those Twitter users were right on the money.
